Istituto Gentili offers innovative oncological therapies with the aim of treating symptoms and complications associated with the oncological disease on the one hand and limiting the adverse events resulting from the treatment on the other, to allow a better quality of life for the patient.

The management of these two aspects is a priority in oncology because a therapy that is too aggressive and not really "personalized", can have a double effect determining:

• further worsening of the patient's state of health which leads, finally, to the suspension or delay of the administration of the therapy itself;
• the onset of collateral effects that are difficult to manage both for the patient and for those who take care of him. The severity of the side effects is a limiting factor in the quality of life of the cancer patient on which we can actively act.
